What it's for

What you adjust

• Round, 70 to 130 mm across, or square, with its own width and height and a 0 to 25 mm corner radius
• Thickness from 2 to 8 mm, in half-millimeter steps — 4 mm is the default
• Logo as PNG, JPG or SVG, up to 8 MB; there is no text field, so a written name goes in as an image
• Image reduced to 4 or 8 colors, with the color of each region picked by you
• Design depth from 0.4 to 1.6 mm — the ceiling comes down with the thickness, because 1.2 mm of floor always stays under the design
• Split into two halves with a dowel, press-fit, ball snap or dovetail — rarely needed here, since 130 mm fits any bed

How to print it

• Print it design face down, straight onto the plate and with no raft: the plate you pick is the finish the part gets — the smooth one gives gloss, the textured one gives matte
• Pick the format in the menu beside the download button — it never switches by itself: 3MF for a multicolor logo, STL for a one-color coaster
• No supports needed: the part is a flat plate and the design sits in the same plane as the face
• Color changes happen only in the first layers, within the design depth, so the purge (the filament the machine throws away at every color change) is small

Frequently asked questions

I only have a single-filament printer. What do I get?

A smooth coaster, all one color: the logo is still there in the geometry, but it disappears, because here it reads by color and not by relief. And the trick of swapping filament at a given layer doesn't help — the colors sit side by side within the same layers, not stacked one above the other.

Why print it face down?

Because the bed is the smoothest surface the printer has. With the design against it, the coaster's face copies the plate's finish; printed face up, that same face would come out with the layer lines showing.

My logo has thin strokes. Will they print?

It depends on your nozzle, and the app measures it. Each region of the image is checked against the nozzle you declared; if one gets too thin, it flags that region and warns you before the download. The design also stops 2 mm from the edge, with a band of the body color around it.
