A podium medal with the ribbon loop already on it

The ribbon doesn't go through a drilled hole: the loop is a rectangular piece born together with the medal, sized to the ribbon you already own β€” 6 to 40 mm wide. After that you pick round or rectangular, type the β€œ1st” (or the name of the race), upload the club logo and set the rim (the border running around the face). The file comes out of your browser right away, loop already in place.

What it's for

  • Amateur championship podium: 1st, 2nd and 3rd place
  • Road race or cycling event, with the event name and date on the rim
  • School awards: field day, math olympiad, kindergarten graduation
  • Club futsal or volleyball tournament, with the team crest in the bottom band
  • E-sports championship or club chess tournament prize
  • Martial arts belt promotion, with the rank in the center β€” 1st dan, blue belt

What you adjust

  • Round at 60, 80 or 100 mm, or vertical rectangle from 45Γ—70 to 65Γ—100 mm, 2 to 6 mm thick
  • Rim up to 8 mm wide: flat, beveled, rounded or grooved (the decorative profiles apply to the round one)
  • Two rim text lines, up to 40 characters each β€” curved on the round medal, straight on the rectangle β€” with an optional backing band behind the letters
  • A ring of stars, or of your own icon as an SVG or PNG, from 4 to 48 repetitions: on the round medal it fills the arc the rim text leaves free by itself; on the rectangle it runs evenly around the edge of the plate
  • Center title, extra line and logo, each raised or engraved and draggable across the face; crest in the bottom band, with an optional backing plate
  • Ribbon loop sized to your ribbon: 6 to 40 mm of inner width, with the wall thickness you choose

How to print it

  • The app doesn't choose the format for you: the download menu opens on 3MF, and that's what carries each piece's color through to the slicer. A medal with no color in the logo fits in an STL, and the swap is yours to make
  • Lay the medal on the bed face up: the relief sits on the top face and the ribbon slot runs straight through the thickness, so there is nothing to bridge and nothing to support
  • Engraved text and stars gain contrast with acrylic paint: brush it into the groove and wipe the excess off the face with a damp cloth before it dries
  • Once you enter your nozzle and layer height, the ribbon loop alone gains two floors that lock: the ribbon slot height won't go under two extrusion beads (it would close up when printed) and the loop wall won't go under three (it would open up in use). Every relief and text band has its own, at two layers

Frequently asked questions

Does the medal come with a hole for the ribbon?
It comes with a rectangular loop that is part of the piece, not a round hole. You state the ribbon width (6 to 40 mm) and the slot height, and the loop comes out at that size. Ask for a slot too narrow for your nozzle and the control stops, telling you the minimum in mm.
Can I put the club logo on it in more than one color?
Yes, if you print with an AMS (Bambu's filament carousel), an MMU or a manual filament swap. Send a PNG or SVG to the logo or the crest and turn on the multicolor inlay: the image is reduced to a few flat colors, each piece of the logo becomes a part in its own color, and the 3MF comes out with that split already done. Without it, the same logo comes out as a single-color relief β€” or you turn on the recess (a pocket carved into the face), print the colored pieces separately and glue them in.
Can I do 1st, 2nd and 3rd without rebuilding everything?
Yes. Change only the title text and generate again β€” rim, stars, logo and loop stay as they are.

Do I need an account? Is there a cost?

No and no. Building the model and downloading the file is free and needs no sign-up β€” the geometry is generated in your browser, no queue and no upload. An account is for something else: saving what you built and publishing personalization links for your customers.

Adjust the measurements, spin the part and download the file β€” all in the browser.
