The figure's outer outline becomes the wall that cuts — and only the outer outline: a hole in the middle of the drawing does not become a cutout, it only shows up if you turn on the inner imprint. From there you set size, wall thickness and cutting height in millimeters. You get an STL generated in the browser, ready to open in your slicer — the program that turns the part into layers for the printer — and the image never goes to a server.

What you adjust

  • The image: PNG, JPG or SVG with dark strokes on a light background — what becomes the cut is the filled silhouette, the solid mass of the drawing, not the line
  • Part size, from 40 to 160 mm on the longer side
  • Cutting wall thickness, from 0.6 to 2 mm — 0.9 mm is the default
  • Cutting height, from 8 to 30 mm, to match the dough thickness
  • Optional base flange: 2 to 8 mm wide and 1 to 4 mm tall — it's the finger rest and the part's stiffness
  • Optional inner imprint: the drawing's lines rise inside the cutter and press into the dough, and the stroke can be thickened up to 1.5 mm. It stops 2 mm short of the cutting edge — the top rim, the part that actually cuts — so the cutter goes through the dough before the drawing marks it

How to print it

  • You get an STL. This model is single-color — no multicolor, no filament change
  • It's all vertical wall: print it with the base on the bed and the cutting edge up, no supports at all. The flange, when it's on, grows from that same base. To use it, flip the part
  • Declare your nozzle and the thickness control locks at one and a half of its beads — a bead is the line of plastic the nozzle lays down. With a 0.6 mm nozzle the floor becomes 0.9 mm, and the slider won't go below that
  • Size goes up to 160 mm on the longer side. If it doesn't fit your bed, you can split the part into two halves with an alignment pin and glue them afterwards

Frequently asked questions

What kind of drawing becomes a cutter?
A drawing with dark strokes on a light or transparent background — PNG, JPG or SVG. Very faint gray strokes may not register. Worth repeating the part that disappoints most: only the figure's outer border becomes wall, so an opening in the middle of the drawing stays solid dough — unless you turn on the inner imprint, which presses it in rather than cutting it out. Until you upload anything, the editor shows a square sample cutter.
Does it work with real dough?
It cuts cookie dough, fondant and play dough. On food contact the app makes no claim — that depends on your filament and your use. In practice the part comes out with layer grooves that hold dough: wash it by hand right after, and keep it out of the dishwasher and away from hot dough.
What wall thickness cuts well?
0.9 mm is the default and handles most doughs. The slider won't go below one and a half beads of your nozzle — a bead is the line of plastic it lays down — because a single bead cracks in your hand. With a 0.6 mm nozzle that floor is exactly 0.9 mm. And if the drawing has detail too fine for your nozzle, the part comes out flagged before you download.

Do I need an account? Is there a cost?

No and no. Building the model and downloading the file is free and needs no sign-up — the geometry is generated in your browser, no queue and no upload. An account is for something else: saving what you built and publishing personalization links for your customers.
