A desk phone holder that changes only on the front plate

What it's for

• Prop for shooting vertical video at the bench, with the phone held still
• Video-call stand, phone upright and your hands free

What you adjust

• Stand color: white, black or blue (its geometry is fixed — no change in size or angle)
• The logo: PNG, JPG or SVG, up to 8 MB, processed in your browser
• How many colors the logo gets: 4 or 8 — the image is quantized (reduced to that many flat colors) and each area becomes a region in its own color
• Logo plate size: width and height from 20 to 90 mm (default is 51 × 69 mm)
• Logo relief: 0.4 to 1.2 mm, in 0.2 steps — the control stops at 2 layers of the height you declared, because any less isn't a step

How to print it

• Two parts come out: the stand, in a single color, and the logo plate. As the file goes out you opt between 3MF, which keeps each region's color inside it, and STL, which keeps none — the pick is yours, not the app's
• The stand comes out in the orientation the original drawing (the CAD) was exported in, resting on the bed: no overhangs, no print supports
• Both parts arrive placed on the same bed, the plate lying flat in front of the stand — print them together or split them in the slicer
• The plate comes out flat, artwork facing up: the color change stays in the top layers only (little AMS purge — the filament the machine discards at every swap) and the artwork lands on a smooth surface, with no layer lines running across it
• Printed and cleaned, the plate glues onto the front of the stand. The app doesn't generate a joint between the two parts: it's glue

Frequently asked questions

Can I change the stand's size, angle or cradle?

No. The body is a closed model, drawn part by part rather than generated by controls — same base, same angle, same height, with no adjustment per phone model. What you control is its color and the logo plate.

Do I need an AMS or a multi-material printer?

No. With an AMS, the 3MF (the format that already carries each region's color inside the file) comes out with the logo in color. Without one, the plate prints in a single color and the logo stays raised — you can paint it afterwards, or swap filament by hand at a single print height, since all the art sits at the same level.

What if my logo has strokes that are too thin?

The app compares the artwork against the nozzle you declared and warns you when a stroke doesn't fit it — a warning, not a block: you decide whether to change the art. The relief itself the control won't let go below 2 layers: with a 0.2 mm layer, the minimum is 0.4 mm.
