Keychain with your image, and the keyring your way
Two keychains share this page: one with a round hole pierced through the tag, to take the metal ring you already own; the other with the loop printed as part of the piece, no hardware at all. The image you upload is the same in both — raised, engraved or in flat colors — and you set the tag in millimeters.

What you adjust
- Tag from 30 to 80 mm long, 15 to 50 mm wide and 2 to 5 mm thick, with corners from sharp to a 10 mm radius
- Keyring two ways: a round hole from 3 to 8 mm pierced through the tag, or a loop printed with it, with its own inner opening and wall — on the left edge or the top
- Logo raised, engraved or in multicolor: the image gets quantized — flattened into 4 or into 8 flat colors — and you say which ones those are
- Optional text line (off by default), up to 16 characters, with your choice of font, raised or engraved
- Optional raised border, 0.4 to 2 mm tall, with its own width
- Optional recess under the logo: a pocket in the tag where the colored pieces sit — the inlay prints separately and glues in there
How to print it
- The format selector starts on 3MF, the file that keeps color alongside geometry — that's how the slicer knows which filament goes on each patch of the artwork. One-color tag? Switch it to STL yourself; nothing switches for you
- Flat on the bed, image side facing up: relief, border and external loop all come out with no supports at all, because the loop lies flat in the tag's own plane
- This is a pocket piece, banging against your other keys all day: thickness runs from 2 to 5 mm and starts at 3 mm, and a corner radius of up to 10 mm takes the sharp edges off it
- Tell it which nozzle and which layer height you use: the loop wall (three beads), the border (two layers tall and two beads wide) and the relief (two layers) each stop at your own machine's floor, with the number in mm on screen
Frequently asked questions
- Does it work with any image?
- PNG, JPG or SVG — the cap is 8 MB. Clean line art with high contrast becomes good relief; a photo full of gradients becomes a smudge. If some stroke ends up thinner than your nozzle nothing gets blocked: the piece comes back with a warning naming which one it is.
- Do I need a multicolor printer (AMS) for a colored logo?
- For the piece to come off the printer already colored, yes — the 3MF already carries the color of every region. Without an AMS, turn on the recess: each color becomes a loose piece, you print them one at a time swapping filament by hand, and they all seat into the pocket in the tag.
- Does the printed loop hold up, or is the hole better?
- It depends on your nozzle. The loop wall has a floor of three beads — three passes of the nozzle, laid side by side — and the control stops right there, telling you the number in mm, because any thinner it opens up under the weight of the piece. The inner width has a ceiling too: the loop mounts on one of the tag's edges, and the control won't let it grow past what that edge can hold. If you want the thinnest keychain you can get, stay with the round hole and a metal ring.
Do I need an account? Is there a cost?
No and no. Building the model and downloading the file is free and needs no sign-up — the geometry is generated in your browser, no queue and no upload. An account is for something else: saving what you built and publishing personalization links for your customers.
