What it's for

What you adjust

• Two formats: cut to the drawing's own silhouette, or a rectangular card with a 0 to 16 mm corner radius
• Cutout size from 40 to 160 mm; on the card, width and height from 50 to 200 mm each
• Line height from 0.6 to 2.5 mm — it's the step that holds the ink inside each region
• Thicken the strokes by up to 1.5 mm per side, so a thin drawn line doesn't vanish when printed
• Base thickness from 1.2 to 5 mm, and an optional raised frame on the card format, with its own width and height
• Split into parts with a glued dowel joint or a press-fit joint, when the card is bigger than your bed

How to print it

• STL comes out: the part is a single color, and the color comes later — from the child's marker
• Lay the piece on the bed with the relief facing up. No supports needed: the stroke rises from the top of the base
• Matte white is what usually gives the most contrast, and the top of the stroke stays visible after coloring
• With your nozzle and layer height declared, three controls stop on their own: line height at 3 layers, frame width at 2 beads and frame height at 2 layers

Frequently asked questions

What kind of image works?

Line art (an outline drawing, no fill): dark strokes on a light or transparent background, as PNG, JPG or SVG. Coloring-book drawings work well. Photos don't — the app reads the stroke by how dark it is, and very faint gray may not register at all.

What does the child color it with?

Regular markers, thin crayons or a whiteboard marker. The raised stroke acts as a wall and keeps the ink in its region. The whiteboard kind wipes off with a dry cloth, so the same piece serves again.

My drawing has very thin lines. Will they disappear?

The app measures the stroke against your nozzle and warns when it gets too thin to print. The fix is "thicken lines". But thicken too much and two neighboring lines merge and close the drawing — and on that side there is no warning at all, so it's worth checking the preview before downloading.

Does the card fit my printer?

On the card format, yes: width and height stop at what fits your bed, accounting for the part rotated in-plane and for splitting being on. On the cutout, size goes up to 160 mm, and from there the space the piece takes on the bed depends on your drawing's shape.
